LAKE OF COMABBIO AND
THE BYCICLE LANE
Lake of Comabbio is located in the Province of Varese about 3 km from the most famous lake of Varese to which it was once connected.
It has a development of 9 km and is a naturalistic oasis rich in aquatic plants, the maximum depth is 8 m.
The track passes through the Berrini Park of Ternateand the Corgeno Park, which have toilets, bars and games for the little ones.
The route offers enchanting views of the landscape, immersed in an original natural environment, interesting the constructive choice of a
500 m long wooden platform that allows you to pedal suspended over the water.
Starting from the park of Ternate, the track has a length of about 12.5 km. In the municipality of Varano Borghi it is possible by means of
a cycle link to reach the Varese lake track .
Connection with Lake of Varese cycle path:
Starting from the parking lot of the Tigros supermarket along the cycle path of Lake Varese, after 9 km, in the hamlet of Cassinetta di Biandronno, near a sports field, take the cycle path on the left, crossed with attention the provincial road climb the maricapiede until you meet after 200 m. the beginning of the dirt track, from here, skirting the Brabbia marsh on the right, after about 4 km you will reach Varano Borghi, at the wooden barrier, keep left and immediately afterwards take the track on the right, always straight until it intersects, after the provincial underpass, the cycle path of Lake Comabbio. At the crossroads if you take the left after 1.5 km, near a campsite the track ends, if you take the right (recommended) the track ends about 7 km after crossing the towns of Ternate and Comabbio.

Water lilies and reeds
The panorama is breathtaking, like a postcard, there is also a very long wooden walkway that allows you to admire the reeds and water lilies in the absolute silence of the willow forest behind.
